1- SUNBURST

Its tree is big, and gives yield early in the season. The fruit is somewhat flat on the  top and bottom,  it’s peel color is reddish - orange the fruit pulp is colorful and juicy. It  ripen from the middle of November to the middle of December.

2- FREMONT

Its tree is medium strength and grows tall, its branches are without thorns. It yields fruit quite young and has a high yield at maturity. Fruit is attractive, juice is very sweet and flesh is delicious. After ripening, it can stay on tree approx. three months (until middle of March) without losing its quality. It is suitable for storing and transporting.

3 - NOVA

Its tree is big, strong and has glossy leaves. The fruit’s quality is high, reasonably big and delicious. Number of seeds varies as per insemination. It has a fairly high yield. It’s harvest time is November-December.

 4 -MINNEOLA

Its tree is strong, large foliage, leaves are large and pointed. Fruits are reasonably big. It has a slightly long, distinct neck  on fruit top. It looks similar to a pear. It’s fruit  is aromatic, delicious, juicy and a little sour. It is suitable for storing and transportation. Harvest starts on December, continues to the beginning of March.

Wonderful color,  peels easily. It is large in size. It develops late in the season.

5 - SATSUMA


Its tree has flat shape and few leaves. It is known as “Rize Mandarin” in the Mediterranean area. It is an early variety. It is suitable for storing and transportation. It has a high yield. Fruit peels are thin and peel easily. It has high quality taste and aroma. It is without seeds. Harvest starts at the end of September- beginning of October.

Light orange color, smooth peel. It appears at the beginning of the season.

6 - ELLENDALE


Its fruits are high quality and big in size.  It is juicy, aromatic and its sugar - acid ratio is excellent. Harvest starts in February-March. It can stay on tree without puffing out for a very long time. It is suitable for storing and transportation.

7 - LEE

Its tree is weaker than that of Robinson. Fruit has thin peel, dark red, close to round shape, peels easily, sweet, delicious, aromatic and firm.

8 - W.MURCOTT

 

Its peel is reddish orange, inside is bright orange color.  It is a late variety of mandarin (it ripens in February-March period). It has unique aroma and is very sweet.

 9 -OKITSU


Its tree is strong. It is one of the earliest of the mandarins. Fruits are reasonably big and flat. It is seedless, it is peeled easily and is sweet.  Earlier planting of Okitsu is increased as Satsuma. It is about 2 weeks earlier compared to the Satsuma. It is suitable for storing.

  10 -ROBINSON

 

Its tree grows tall and wide, its leaves are pear shape and wide. It has a small neck at the joint of fruit and stem. It’s high yield comes in the middle of the season. It is delicious, sweet, aromatic and has little or no seeds. It is suitable for storing and transportation.
