1 - GALA 
Tree : It is reasonably strong, produces fruit rapidly and regularly, thinning and trimming are required in order to obtain satisfactory sizes.
Fruit : medium big, 40-60% of peel is covered with orange- red lines. Fruit is very hard and crisp, has sweet taste and quite juicy. It can keep for long time.
Season it is required to expand picking period as two- three times at 10 days second- third period of August for obtimal color and quality.
Characteristics Hard, juicy, and sweet. Skin is red- orange lines over a yellow color.

2 - GRANNY SMITH 
Tree : has strong structure and has regular high yield.
Fruit : is medium sized, spherical shape. It is unique in terms of quality and type. It has green, waxy and a little spotted skin, its flesh is juicy and quite aromatic. It is very sensitive to Oidium’ and spotting. Storage period is good up to 10 months. Fruits that are picked earlier are subjected to shriveling.
Season Middle – end of October, “25 days after Red Delicious”. Ripening starts at least one month after harvesting.
Characteristics Green Color- it does not turn black
Months : October - November - December -January 3 - FUJI
Tree : It grows laterally and horizontally and it has strong structure. It has high and regular yield as long as suitable trimming has been performed. Fruit : Medium- big size, yellow turned orange color and red lined. Flesh is hard and crisp, sweet and less sour. Its taste is nice; it ripens later than Granny Smith.
Season second half of October; it can keep for a long time with limited risks.
Characteristics it is ideal for cooking and snacking. It has a long shelf life.
Months : November - December - January - February - March – april - May - June - July 4 -RED DELICIOUS Fruit : it is suitable for storage; it is resistance to picking- transportation processes. It produces medium- big sizes and has stable lengthways conical stem. “usage of Gibberellin affects on taking on shape of fruits at blooming period and characteristics of 5 lobs contributes lengthways growth. Flesh is creamy white, reasonably soft. It is not very juicy. It is mildly sour, has a nice aroma and sweet taste. It displays the best characteristics only when most ripe.
Harvesting Period : at earlier regions, in the first and second 10 day periods in September; at high regions, the second and third 10 day periods.
Ripening : it ripens 15-20 days after harvesting. Fruits that are picked a little earlier, are subjected to shriveling, if they are picked later, are subjected to “vitresans”. When they are kept under controlled atmosphere, can be stored until spring Season September- October

5 -GOLDEN DELICIOUS
Tree : It can grow within limited or wide growth by combining different strength fruitbearing.
Fruit : It is medium size, has wide form and attractive appearance. Its peel is yellow, sometimes it is decorated with red color, from time to time it can show oxidation marks Harvest Period: it is from middle of September to at the beginning of October. If it is picked at the correct hardness at intervals, fruits stays at wonderful taste for a long time and storage problems are minimized. Ripening : It ripens 15-20 days after harvest. Fruits that are picked a little earlier, are subjected to shriveling, if they are picked later, are subjected to “vitresans”. When they are kept under controlled atmosphere, they can be stored until spring. 6 -BREABURN Tree : It is less strong and semi-spur type. It prepares fruits early and it has excellent yield,
Fruit : Big, wide fruit, asymmetric shape, light greenish color, lined and is covered 40% by red waves. (it takes bright red appearance at some ambient.).Flesh is compact and not always hard, juicy, sweet/ mildly sour and less aromatic. It becomes scurfy and sunburn is seen when planted on the plain.
