Olmuksa, was established with 5.000.000 TL capital in the name of OLMUK MUKAVVA SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. in 1963. Founders were  Akbank, Bank for Turkey Development of Industry, Transtürk Holding, Özdemir Antimuan Madenleri Ltd. Şti. ve Sadıkoğlu Family.

Gebze Factory - the first Olmuk factory began commercial activities in Gebze- Dilovası in February 1969.

Olmuk went into public ownership as per the policy of Bank for Turkey Development of Industry in 1971, and its shares started to trade on the stock exchange.

Olmuk’s paper facility was established in Edirne-Tayakadın in 1977, where it began  manufacturing liner type papers from waste paper and straw.  From 1986 onwards, this factory manufactured its products using 100% recycled paper.

In1984, a new enterprise was planned by Hacı Ömer Sabancı Holding A.Ş , to improve its efficiency on management, and the Company’s name was changed to OLMUKSA MUKAVVA SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş.

Tire Kutsan A.Ş.that was established in the County of Tire, in Izmir Province in 1974. In 1977 it had a capacity of 30,000 tonnes/ year. Today it’s profile is as follows:

   •    Manufacturing of corrugated cardboard – 120,.000 tonnes/year in Tire factory.
   •    Manufacturing of corrugated cardboard cartons – 200,000 tonnes/year in Tire, İzmit, Adana, Manisa, Karaman factories.
   •    Manufacturing of offset cartons is 15,000 tonnes/year in Tire, and İstanbul factories
Together with these capacities, Tire Kutsan continues its marketing activities with more than 1000 personnel and has sales organizations in six regions throughout Turkey. It is one of the leading Companies in the paper and packaging sector. It always considers customer requests and offers, and follows improvements on world packaging closely. Tire Kutsan has added super flexo printing equipment to its machinery. This machine is unique in Turkey and the first to have 4-6-7 colour printing and also applies varnish.

Meymiks has been established in 2008 to transfer partners’ experiences and products via a new channel to consumers. Its primary aim is to sell high quality fruit  to domestic consumers regularly and safely on the internet.
 
Our company’s partners are Özler Tarım Ürünleri AŞ., A. Selami Güleç, M. Ersin Şendoğan and Haldun V. Teymen. All of our partners are directly involved in the  production, packing, distribution and export of citrus and other fruits, and are based in Adana.

Our cold stores in Mersin Free Zone are operated by CBA. Fresh fruit is stored here in temperature sensitive cold stores, using the latest technology, prior to export.

The cold store facility has been constructed close to the port, to enable easy access for loading and unloading vessels in the most time-efficient and cost-effective manner. 

The rear of the facility has loading platforms for trucks and lorries.

There are 6 cold stores and the temperature in each of them can be adjusted between +15 and -25 C, according to product stored. The height of the cold stores is ten meters. Each loading and unloading is planned without compromising the safety of the products in cold storage.

Atlas Tarim opened for business in the Karayusuflu municipality of Adana in 2002, with 1700 hectares of orchards. Previously cereals had been grown on this land, but with the advent of Atlas, the land was turned over to start growing dwarf apple, cherry and pear trees for Baler Ziraat.

Today, a major part of this land is being changed to start growing citrus trees. The Company follows technical innovation closely, and irrigates all orchards by drip irrigation. Wind fans have also been installed to protect against frost damage.

PLASTEKS began production in March 2000 and quickly made a name for itself, using innovative style and flair. Despite being relatively new in the plastics sector, it has reached a position of respect within the marketplace.
The factory is built on an area of 11.000 m2  in the Adana Industrial Zone and is a facility dedicated to the manufacture of plastic products.

The factory is modern, and uses the latest technology in manufacturing. 

The equipment, robots and other components used in Plasteks were selected and supplied from overseas.

With more than a century of experience, Baler has, over the years, made considerable investments in agriculture, to the point where today, they own and grow citrus over an area of 6000 hectares.
 
In 1999 Baler bought a further 6000 hectares in Ulukışla, in Central Anatolia and has developed the land to grow dwarf apple, cherries and pears.
