Özler Tarım Ürünleri Üretim Pazarlama San.ve Tic.A.Ş. was founded in 1982 and is the biggest citrus exporter in Turkey. Over the years, our company has undergone great development and broken new ground in many areas. In 2007, the Company changed its business title and profile to become a Joint-Stock Company.  Focusing on customer satisfaction, the Company supplies a wide range of fresh produce to countries worldwide from Malaysia to the United Kingdom.

Green issues are of paramount importance to us and as such we have introduced recycled plastics and paper products into all our units, in the interest of environmental conservation. 

Ozler tarım was the first Company within the Turkish fresh produce industry to be awarded international certificates such as ISO9001, HACCP, BRC and EurepGAP, thus demonstrating our commitment to Total Quality Management.  Ozler has an on-going policy of investment in research and development, follows the most recent technology in the agricultural sector, and also shares this information to our contracted regional growers.

Baler (one of Özler Tarım’s partners ) has EurepGAP certification, and manages its own 15000 hectares of orchards as well as all other contracted orchards. Baler literally broke virgin ground by growing Apples and Cherries in a new 6500 hectare orchard in the Ulukisla region. Food Safety is of paramount importance to Baler and as such, it has not used any EU unapproved agricultural pesticides either in its own production areas, or in contracted growers orchards.

One of Özler Tarim’s main aims is to support its growers and freely share experience and knowledge with them.  One of the ways it does this is to provide guidance and training courses to new growers enabling them to pursue new markets.
